How do I view files inside an archive?

How to view files in an archive using the standard interface:

This operation requires that you have already opened an archive. You must perform two simple steps:

1. Select the file(s) to view by selecting them in the content list
2. Click the View icon on the toolbar or select View selected files from the View menu, or simply press [Ctrl+V].

This will display the file(s) using the viewer associated with the file. To run the program associated with the file simply double-click the file in the content list.
